Tamara Abou Alwan / Galactic Unicorn

Tamara Abou Alwan / Galactic Unicorn is a multidisciplinary artist, music producer, singer, art therapist, performer, and humanitarian activist from Sweida.

Based between Syria, Lebanon, and recently Marseille, her practice bridges fine arts, sound, movement, therapeutic approaches, and Jungian psychology.

With a background in Fine Arts and audiovisual communication, she continued her studies at the Vienna Academy of Visionary Art. Since childhood, she has performed and exhibited internationally, including in Syria, Vienna, the United States, and Lebanon.

Tamara's work approaches creativity as a catalyst for transformation: a form of conscious activism and a way of exploring social, political, and spiritual complexity.

Drawing from Jungian psychology, Eastern and Gnostic philosophy, mystical theology, esoteric traditions, Sufism, shamanism, quantum theories, and pop culture, she develops a symbolic visual and performative language rooted in both the personal and collective unconscious.

Working across media, she weaves together spiritual development, analytical psychology, ancient civilizations, and alchemy. Her artistic journey is devoted to expanding awareness and illuminating the architecture of both the individual and collective psyche.
