For one day, the Square Léon-Blum becomes a shared space for residents, artists, children, families and visitors.
Around the bandstand, archives, stories, games, workshops, circus, food, screenings, performances and concerts meet.
The festival is not conceived as a sequence of entertainments, but as a collective narrative: that of a neighbourhood, its transformations, and the people who bring it to life today.

MEMORY AS LIVING MATERIAL
Belsunce, the Canebière and their surroundings carry many layers of history.
Old and contemporary photographs, maps, urban transformations, portraits and residents' stories allow us to look at the neighbourhood through time.
The past is not used as nostalgic scenery. It meets the present and becomes a material for imagining what the neighbourhood can still become.

THE BANDSTAND REMEMBERS
At the heart of the festival, the bandstand becomes again what it was designed for: a place to gather around music and performance.
At nightfall, archival images, projections, sound and the presence of artists will reveal different layers of its history.
The image of the past enters into dialogue with the present: what seemed recorded can become alive, and the bandstand recovers its function as a popular stage.

Walking performance, workshops, games, discovering the bandstand's history and circus practices allow the neighbourhood to be approached through movement, imagination and participation.
Transmission does not happen only through plaques or dates: it also happens through the body, curiosity and collective experience.

Local cuisines, neighbourhood initiatives and moments of sharing extend the artistic programme in a simpler form: eating together, talking and meeting those with whom we share the city.
