Je est un autre — verbatim performance

Je est un autre is a unique verbatim performance built from several entirely real stories told by others. The project draws on documentary material, voices, testimonies and presences to create a stage form in which lived experience becomes speech, listening and embodiment.

One of the project's sources of inspiration is Arthur Rimbaud's letter in which he first separates the narrator's voice from himself. This shift opens an essential space for the performance: one in which an intimate voice can pass through another body, another voice, another presence.
